David Ayer has revealed concept art for the iconic bar scene from Suicide Squad.

David Ayer’s Suicide Squad was filled to the brim with juicy character moments that helped audiences fall in love with its characters. While the DC project was far from perfect, it was a fitting debut for the personalities that were Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang. One of the best moments from the film that highlighted how close-knit the Suicide Squad was capable of being was the bar scene.

Taking place just before the third act, the bar scene saw our favorite villains taking a break from their violent adventure and indulging in a break at a posh bar, as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn makes the Suicide Squad drinks while they sort out their woes and engage in bar talk. The scene did a fantastic job of showing off the chemistry the team had, as well as proving that the David Ayer film was capable of having an intimate moment.

David Ayer took took to Instagram to share a lovely look at a concept image that showed the team taking a much needed break. It’s actually uncanny how similar the drawn characters look when compared to their live-action versions.
