David Dunn Receives New Code Name Ahead Of New ‘Glass’ Trailer

Unbreakable’s David Dunn is not what you’d call your traditional superhero. In fact, he probably wouldn’t even consider himself a superhero at all. His ‘costume,’ or lack thereof, is just a poncho. However, as far as Elijah Price is concerned, Dunn is indeed a hero in some sense. But there’s one thing that most heroes have, and that’s an alias, a code name, an alter ego. You see where I’m going. Well, even with M. Night Shyamalan’s Glass set to hit theaters, Dunn himself may not consider himself any sort of title, but that’s all about to change.

The official Twitter handle for the Glass movie today tweeted out a gif that gives Bruce Willis’ David Dunn his code name: The Overseer. And given his powers of instinct and superhuman strength, it fits. Here, have a look at the Glass tweet below:

Well, Mr. Glass did want an archenemy in Unbreakable and turns out he’s got just that. But what do you think of David Dunn’s new code name? Should he just have remained, well, David Dunn? Or are you fine with The Overseer? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more Glass updates as the trailer approaches later this week.

Glass is directed by M. Night Shyamalan and will star Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Spencer Treat Clark, Charlayne Woodard, James McAvoy, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Sarah Paulson. The film is set to hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
