‘Gotham’: David Mazouz’s Batman Joins Cameron Monaghan’s Joker In New Image

David Mazouz’s Batman joins Cameron Monaghan’s Joker in this new image for Gotham that unites the Dark Knight and the Clown Prince of Crime.

With FOX’s Batman prequel series concluding this season, the series will finally see David Mazouz complete his journey as he dons the Cape and Cowl and becomes Batman meanwhile Cameron Monaghan’s Jeremiah will become The Joker. The final episodes are set to feature a 10-year time-jump giving us David Mazouz’s Bruce Wayne early in his career as Batman along with Cameron Monaghan’s Joker who appears s to be inspired by his Earth-2 form which first appeared in Justice League Of America Annual Vol. 3 # 1 back in 2008.

Although the series has yet to reveal what David Mazouz’s Batman will look like opposite Cameron Monaghan in Gotham, this new image gives us a good idea of what to expect. Check it out below!

So what do you think? Are you excited to see Cameron Monaghan finally become the Clown Prince of Crime as David Mazouz finally ascends to become the Dark Knight? Let us know in the comments below!

In the comics, Earth-2 Joker is already an old version of himself. After he fought Batman for years, he allegedly killed the Caped Crusader. But even with his age and disabilities, he’s still fighting against Batman supporters like Robin or Huntress, which is Batman’s daughter Helena Wayne in this universe. Although it’s more likely we’ll see an early version of the Joker in Gotham, who’s just starting his feud with Batman, their looks are very similar.

Gotham returns in roughly two weeks with the episode titled “They Did What?” and you can read the official synopsis below:
