During a recent interview with Red Carpet News TV, David Morrissey talked about the character and how much he enjoyed working with the people on the show. He had nothing but positive things to say about the people who he worked with and was more than willing to make tea for them:
I’ve often said I’d make the tea for them if they asked me because it was a wonderful experience, and it’s a show made by fantastic people, really talented people. And you want to work with those people.
He then went on to talk about his role as The Governor in the show. According to David Morrissey, it is a role that he still wants to play and doesn’t feel that he, as an actor, is finished with the role:
As I say, I love the world, I love the genre, I love the character, so if the powers that be deemed it right to do it, I would love to. Sometimes you walk away from a job, you think, ‘I’m finished with that character.’ Whereas the Governor, I don’t feel that. I think there’s a lot more to mine, really.

David Morrissey, of course, played The Governor during the third and fourth seasons of The Walking Dead as the show’s main human antagonist. The character ultimately allowed his obsession with Rick and the other survivors get the better of him, attacking the prison where they took shelter in. During the battle, The Govoner was killed.
