While we won’t jump to any conclusions as to what is happening in the plot, it’s clear from these two videos that the action sequence being filmed involves both Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds), Domino (Zazie Beetz) and 14-year old Julian Dennison whose character name remains under wraps for now. In the first video, Dennison can first be seen surrounded by destruction and debris after what looks to be a major crash involving a military convoy we later see crossing a bridge on location in Vancouver.
The second video features a stuntwoman (possibly Domino’s), as she uses a giant inflatable Panda to catch her fall from the bridge. You can check out both of the videos below.
Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick returned to script the sequel which began shooting in Vancouver in June. Production is expected to continue through September. The film is being directed by David Leitch (John Wick).
The sequel stars Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Nathan Summers/Cable, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Stefan Kapcic as Piotr Rasputin/Colossus, Morena Baccarin as Vanessa Carlysle, T.J. Miller as Weasel, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, and Karan Soni as Dopinder. Other franchise newcomers confirmed for the sequel include Julian Dennison, Jack Kesy, Shioli Kutsuna and Eddie Marsan in undisclosed roles.
