‘Deadpool’ Christmas Movie Title May Have Been Revealed

Late last month, it was reported that 20th Century Fox has scheduled an Untitled Deadpool Movie for a theatrical release in December that will reportedly be a PG-13 version of Deadpool 2. Now, BBC’s Lizo Mzimba reports that the film will receive an updated Holiday-themed title for its theatrical re-release.

Details on the changes made to the Deadpool 2 re-release are currently unknown, though Ryan Reynolds recently tweeted a new photo suggesting the updated film will feature bumper scenes in which the Merc with a Mouth reads a family-friendly version of the story to Fred Savage as a bedtime story. Now, Lizo Mzimba reports that the film will be released under the title The Deadpool Before Christmas, a possible nod to Tim Burton and Henry Selick’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The Deadpool 2 re-release hits theaters on December 21, 2018.
