‘Deadpool 2’ Star Rob Delaney Throws His Hat In The Ring To Play Superman

Last week, it was reported that Henry Cavill will no longer play Superman in Warner Bros. DC films. Now, Deadpool 2 star Rob Delaney has thrown his own hat into the ring as a possible candidate to play the next Superman.

While Warner Bros. issued a statement explaining that no decisions have been made regarding future Superman films in response to the reports on Henry Cavill’s future as the character, a number of fans have already been suggesting potential successors. Delaney posted a message on his official Twitter account in which he suggests himself to play the next Superman and included a GIF his Deadpool 2 character ‘soaring’ through sky. You can check out Rob Delaney’s comment in the post below!

Of course, Delaney was probably just joking, but who would you like to see play the Last Son of Krypton in future? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!

Warner Bros. and DC Films are currently developing a number of projects, including The Batman, The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Birds of Prey, Black Adam, Cyborg, Black Adam, Supergirl, New Gods, a Deathstroke film, and a Joker origin movie set outside of the DCEU.
