Ryan Reynolds Says ‘It’s War’ Trying To Get Hugh Jackman For Deadpool & Wolverine Crossover

During an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Ryan Reynolds discussed his efforts to get Hugh Jackman on board with a Deadpool and Wolverine crossover.

In recent weeks, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has publicly tried to convince Hugh Jackman to reprise his role as Wolverine in a crossover film with the Regenerating Degenerate, despite the fact that Logan was set to be Jackman’s final outing as the X-Men hero. When Ellen DeGeneres asked Reynolds if he believes Hugh Jackman would appear in a crossover as Wolverine, the Canadian actor replied:

“I would love him to. I would love to do a Deadpool, Wolverine mashup at some point, some kind of Logan thing. I don’t know. He’s on this kick ball change kick right now. I can’t seem to bring him back. I can’t seem to bring him back to the violence and mayhem. I’m trying. I talk to him every other day. Every other, other day he takes the call. But yeah, no, it’s not really a rivalry. It’s war.”

Once Upon a Deadpool will be released in theaters on December 12 for a limited engagement that concludes on Christmas Eve.
