Deborah Ann Woll Officially Confirmed For ‘Marvel’s The Punisher’

At the end of the Iron Fist panel at New York Comic-Con which is going on this weekend, Jeph Loeb brought out a surprise guest, Jon Bernthal, the star of The Punisher, the sixth Netflix series that is coming up. Loeb and Bernthal confirmed that production has officially kicked off as they started on Monday.

It was also officially announced by Bernthal himself that Deborah Ann Woll’s Karen Page from Daredevil will be reprising her role in the Punisher series. Last we saw Karen, she had recently gotten a new job at the New York Bulletin which is where the late Ben Urich worked at before Kingpin murdered him.

Frank Castle was one of the two new key characters in the second season of the Man Without Fear and quickly got his own spin-off series which recently cast several new characters.

Marvel’s The Punisher, starring Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Micro, Amber Rose Revah as Dinah Madani and Ben Barnes as Billy Russo, will be released on Netflix sometime in 2017. Scott Lightfoot wrote the first two episodes and will be the show-runner and executive producer on the series.
