‘The Defenders’: Set Video Offers First Look At Daredevil In Costume

A new video from the set of The Defenders has captured our first our first look at Matt Murdock aka Daredevil (Charlie Cox) suited up in costume in the series.

The series is currently filming on location in New York City which has led to many photos and videos of the production hitting the web including previous looks at Murdock in the series but none of them have featured the devil of Hells Kitchen wearing his protective body armor.

In the video, Daredevil is seen along with Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson), and Colleen Wing (Jessica Henwick). You can check out the video below.

While it isn’t clear what exactly is happening in the scene being filmed, it’s possible this could be related to the set footage that surfaced earlier this week.

An official synopsis for The Defenders has yet to be released but it is known that the series follow the heroes for hire also including Iron Fist (Finn Jones) as they put their resources together to take on the mysterious businesswoman named Alexandra, played by Sigourney Weaver.

The series will see the return of many cast members from the Netflix corner of the MCU including Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, Scott Glenn as Stick, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker.

The Defenders will arrive on Netflix sometime in the summer of 2017.
