Charlie Cox Reveals ‘The Defenders’ Starts Shooting Later This Year

We know that Marvel & Netflix’s  kicks off production this month and following that series will be The Defenders but we’ve yet to get any details about that project. During a Netflix event in Paris, which featured Daredevil star Charlie Cox in attendance, we might just have gotten our first detail about the mini-series production schedule. While answering questions, Cox revealed that the team-up featuring the four characters would start shooting later this year.

What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome.

I have no idea what the storyline is going to be for that show. I’m very excited to see how those world’s combine… and interested to see tonally how those shows become one.

With Iron Fist expected to debut in early 2017, it’s very likely that we will see The Defenders hit the streaming service later that same year. Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below.
