‘Avengers: Endgame’ Highlighted In Disney’s 2019 Film Preview

In case you may have missed it, the House of Mouse is on the verge of owning us all. But on a serious note, when it comes to film, Walt Disney Studios is practically an unstoppable force, and 2019 is probably not going to be any different. Among the major juggernauts released by the House of Mouse are both Star Wars: Episode IX and, more recently, Avengers: Endgame.

Earlier this afternoon, Disney released a short sizzle reel on Twitter showcasing some of Disney’s heavy hitters coming out in 2019, ranging from Dumbo to The Lion King to Avengers: Endgame to Toy Story 4 to Frozen 2. And this isn’t even getting into non-movie related items like Kingdom Hearts 3 now that it’s finally coming out. Here, have a look at Disney’s 2019 film sizzle reel in the video below:

And then you factor in that the House of Mouse is on the verge of purchasing Fox as well, so that’s another line of films that would be included in the growing empire that is Disney. Still, though, the house that Walt Disney built isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. And based on reactions and expectations, the heaviest hitters in 2019 for the company will probably be the likes of The Lion KingAvengers: Endgame, and Star Wars: Episode IX.

What do you think of Disney’s film slate for the months ahead, though? And what are your hopes and expectations for Avengers: Endgame? Let us know in the comments below. Meanwhile, here’s the synopsis for Endgame:

“Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers — Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner — must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos — the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.”

Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
