Disney Says ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Will End With A ‘Bombastic Bang’

Avengers: Infinity War ends on one of the most exciting cliffhanger endings in recent memory, setting up an epic finale that will be seen in Avengers: Endgame. The Russo Brothers have teased that the next film will be “even bigger” than the previous, and a new German press release from Disney teases a massive scale.

The German press release expresses that all of the arcs from over a decade’s worth of films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are all coming to a head with Avengers: Endgame, teasing a “bombastic bang” unlike anything the superhero genre has ever seen on the big screen.

“Dear Colleagues,

It is the most expected trailer of the year. What started with Iron Man in 2008, is going to end with a bombastic bang. After lots of adventures and the most dramatic final in the recent movie history of Avengers: Infinity War, all threads of the Marvel Cinematic Universe converge to the ultimate, game-changing showdown.”

Here is a tentative synopsis:

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Endgame is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
