Disney Chairman Confirms That More Deadpool Is On The Way

It seems that despite the Disney/Fox merger, Disney has every intention to keep Deadpool around with Chairman Alan Horn promising that the character would continue under the Mouse House.

With Disney’s acquisition of Fox now officially complete, it has left the fate of many of Fox’s properties in question. Disney recently assured, for example, that The New Mutants would be released this year. In addition that, despite the franchise’s hard R rating, Disney would be committed to continuing the Deadpool franchise.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney Chairman Alan Horn stated early on in his CinemaCon presentation that more Deadpool would be coming. He even joked about the idea of the character wearing a Micky Mouse hat. He did not, however, give us any idea as to when this film may come.

What do you all make of this news? Are you happy that Deadpool will be continuing under Disney? Will the franchise continue with a hard R rating? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
