She won't be 'Running Wild'.
By now, most Star Wars fans will be aware of Gina Carano’s removal from The Mandalorian after the star voiced some dangerous opinions on social media over the last few months. But it seems like Disney Plus has cut ties with the star completely after a new report suggests an episode of an upcoming National Geographic series which she starred in has been completely axed by the streaming service.
Cinemablend recently spotted that Gina Carano shot an episode of National Geographic’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls, and on the season six listing of all the episodes and guest appearances – The Mandalorian star is nowhere to be seen. Clearly Disney Plus is trying to distance itself from the controversial figure after her firing. Recent reports also revealed that Hasbro has canceled action figures of Gina Carano’s Cara Dune.
What do you make of Disney Plus removing Gina Carano from the National Geographic series? Are you glad she won’t return to The Mandalorian? What do you want to see from the third season of the Star Wars show? Sound-off in the comments below!
