RUMOR: Marvel Disney Plus Series To Receive $100 Million Budget Each

A new rumor suggests that the upcoming Marvel Disney Plus series could each be receiving budgets as high as $100 million.

Last year saw the cancellation of a number of Marvel Netflix series, excluding The Punisher and Jessica Jones. The future still looks bright for Marvel on streaming platforms though. The upcoming Disney Plus streaming service is set to premiere series centered around characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Apparently, series such as Loki, Vision and The Scarlet Witch, Winter Soldier/Falcon, and Lady Sif will be hitting Disney Plus sometime in the future. A new rumor from Discussing Film suggests that each one of those exciting series could be receiving a budget of $100 million. This would put each of the series in the same budgetary ballpark as the upcoming Disney Plus Star Wars series The Mandalorian, from Iron Man director Jon Favreau.

As shown by the titles above, the Disney Plus streaming service seems to be focusing on the beloved side characters of the MCU. The recently announced Lady Sif series will be the first appearance of the fan-favorite character, played by Jaimie Alexander, since the 2013 film Thor: The Dark World.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the Marvel Disney Plus streaming service series as soon as more information becomes available. What are your thoughts on these upcoming series? Which one sounds the most exciting to you? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
