Disney Plus will officially launch next Tuesday, offering viewers a vast library of the companies film and television titles, both classic and original titles. While most fans assumed Disney Plus would follow the Netflix model of going online at midnight on the west coast, it appears this may not be the case.
Marvel’s official website has added a countdown clock that informs fans of how much time remains before the company’s films can be viewed on Disney Plus. As of now, the Marvel countdown indicates Disney Plus will officially launch on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. ET.
The Disney Plus launch time suggested by the Marvel countdown clock has not been confirmed by an official press release, but for the time being, it offers the best indication of when fans can start streaming their favorite titles.
Television projects being developed for Disney include Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, WandaVision, Hawkeye, What If?, and Lucasfilms’ Star Wars series’ The Mandalorian, a show centered on Diego Luna’s Cassian Andor, and an Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor. Features films include remakes of Lady and the Tramp, Home Alone, and Night at the Museum.
Disney Plus will launch in Canada, the Netherlands, and the United States on November 12, 2019.
