Doctor Strange Confirmed To Appear In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Remember that post-credits scene in this past November’s Doctor Strange? Doctor Strange and Thor sat down across from each other to discuss some business. And now it’s been confirmed that the good doctor will be appearing later this year in Thor: Ragnarok.

Disney’s fan club, D23, just posted a preview of all the things that fans can look forward to from Disney in 2017. Among them was Thor: Ragnarok. The description teases how the film will see the God of Thunder team up with familiar faces. Here’s an excerpt from D23 about the film:

“Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”

Thor: Ragnarok will mark the first appearance of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange in another Marvel film. However, there has been nothing confirmed yet about what role Stephen Strange will play.

Directed by Taika Waititi, the film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Sir Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Cate Blanchett as the villain Hela, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, and Karl Urban as Skurge. Additionally, Jurassic Park star Sam Neill will also be joining the cast.

Thor: Ragnarok will hit theaters November 3, 2017. Are you excited to see Doctor Strange fight alongside Thor? Sound off in the comments below!
