A new 'Doctor Strange' promo for the film's Blu-Ray release features a new look at Benedict Cumberbatch's visit to a comic book shop in between filming.
Fans who followed the production of Marvel’s Doctor Strange are probably aware of star Benedict Cumberbatch’s visit to a local comic book shop in between filming. Now, a new promo for the film’s upcoming Blu-ray debut has been released that features a new look at the actors visit to the comic book store.
The promo features director Scott Derrickson recounting how he and Cumberbatch decided to pay a visit to the store’s owners and customers. Derrickson’s own cell phone footage of the visit is included in the short clip.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.
Directed by Scott Derrikson and co-written by C. Robert Cargill, the film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton.
Doctor Strange will be available on Digital HD on February 14, 2017 and will be released on Blu-Ray & DVD on February 28, 2017.
