Marvel Comics’ ‘Doctor Strange’ Brings Back A Classic Villain

Warning: The following post contains spoilers on Marvel Comics’ Doctor Strange #7!

Marvel Comics’ Doctor Strange #7 brought back one of the Sorcerer Supreme’s most powerful and dangerous foes: Baron Mordo.

The latest run of Doctor Strange has followed the Sorcerer Supreme as he traveled through the cosmos in an attempt to regain his powers after being stranded in space. After returning to Earth with his powers restored, Strange discovered that his former assistant Casey Kinmont has been posing as his doppelgänger. Although Doctor Strange tried to convince Kinmon to abandon her charade, Baron Mordo revealed himself to be the true mastermind behind the ruse. It turns out the powerful villain corrupted Casey with hatred after she sacrificed her soul to save Doctor Strange’s and used that anger to have her ruin the Sorcerer Supreme’s reputation.

Details on how Baron Mordo returned and his goals remain uncertain.

Stephen Strange is back on Earth, and he knows how to build his own arsenal. He’ll need it! His troubles continued growing while he was gone, and while he’s using magic to solve them…He’ll need it to fight… himself?
