‘Doctor Strange’ Reveals New Promotional Motion Poster

The internet has been flooded lately with promotional items for the upcoming Marvel film, Doctor Strange. To add to the batch of promo trailers, teasers, and posters, a new ‘Motion Poster’ has been released for the film. Check out the poster below:

The poster perfectly displays the trippy effects and visuals we have to look forward to in the movie. Longer than a typical gif but not exactly a video, or even a promo, a motion poster is a perfect way to market the film while quickly and efficiently showing off the visuals. The Inception styled visuals are easily the largest gimmick that the new Marvel film has going for it, aside from being in the Marvel Universe, so it makes sense that they are a focus of the marketing.

Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), a young, arrogant surgeon with a promising career, loses his ability to operate after a terrible accident. Despondent and suicidal, Dr. Strange seeks advice from a mystical being known as the Ancient One and learns that he is the newly designated Sorcerer Supreme, responsible for protecting the planet from evil. With his girlfriend Clea and his loyal assistant Wong in tow, Strange sets out to fulfill his destiny.
Doctor Strange appears in theaters on November 4th, 2016. Make sure to sound off your excitement in the comments!

Jack of some trades, master of some others. That saying never really made a lot of sense to me.
