This past summer, it was announced that Brandon Routh and his wife/co-star Courtney Ford will step down as series regulars of the DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. While the exact point at which Brandon Routh will leave Legends of Tomorrow is unknown to viewers, it appears the Atom actor is preparing for his departure and co-star Dominic Purcell posted a farewell message on his official Instagram account.
In the post, Dominic Purcell expressed how it has been a joy working with Brandon Routh on Legends of Tomorrow through the years. Towards the end of his message, Dominic Purcell wished Brandon Routh good fortune in the future and noted that he hopes the Atom actor lands a great role after Legends of Tomorrow.

The Flash introduced Dominic Purcell’s Mick Rory / Heat Wave to the Arrowverse before reprising the role as a series regular of Legends of Tomorrow. Dominic Purcell will return to the character when the fifth season of Legends of Tomorrow premieres next year.
Meanwhile, Brandon Routh will play a key role in the upcoming Arrowverse crossover when he portrays the Kingdom Come Superman. Crisis On Infinite Earths will span two quarters and consist of Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Batwoman. The Arrowverse crossover will launch with three episodes in December before concluding with two additional episodes in January.
