‘Doomsday Clock’: Geoff Johns Previews DC Comics Event In New Trailer

DC has released a new preview for the upcoming 'Doomsday Clock' limited series event featuring writer & DC Comics CCO Geoff Johns.

DC has released a new video preview for the upcoming limited series comic event titled Doomsday Clock.

Last year’s DC Universe: Rebirth special issue revealed that Watchmen character Dr. Manhattan was responsible for altering the DC Universe timeline during the creation of the New 52 continuity. This fall, the 12-issue series titled Doomsday Clock will introduce the characters of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen to the DC Universe, with Superman confronting Dr. Manhattan about his decision to manipulating the DC timeline.

Now, Doomsday Clock writer and CCO of DC Comics Geoff Johns offers fans a preview of the upcoming limited series in a new video from DC. In the preview, Johns discusses how the decision to introduce the Watchmen characters into the DC Universe came to be, reveals how the 2016 United States Presidential election influenced the story, and shares his hopes for how readers will respond to the series.

Doomsday Clock #1 will be released at 11:57 pm on November 21.
