Marvel Fan Masters Drax’s Invisibility From ‘Infinity War’ For Halloween

Remember how Drax, standing perfectly still for an hour in Avengers: Infinity War, had perfected the art of invisibility to the eye? No, he’s not eating a zargnut. His moment is so slow that it’s very near imperceptible. To Star-Lord and Gamora, maybe. To the clueless Mantis, not so much. Anyway, Drax was one of those dusted by Thanos in the climax of Infinity War, so in a way, he really is invisible until his eventual resurrection in Avengers 4 next year. Even still, this hasn’t stopped one fan from going the distance to recreate one of Drax’s “finest” hours.

With the Halloween season upon us, many will no doubt be dressing up as characters, figures, ghost, ghouls, and everything in-between to celebrate the occasion. And one Marvel fan took it to the nth degree over on Reddit through a photo shared yesterday that showed them dressing up as Drax for a friend’s Halloween party. Have a look at the Infinity War-inspired costume in the image below:

Now, you may look at this and think “Did this person really receive this much attention and many comments by posting a photo of a corner and wall?” And you’d technically be right.  Or rather, maybe we aren’t looking hard enough and their amazing Drax costume cannot be seen with the naked eye. After all, Star-Lord and Gamora were unable to spot Drax in Infinity War…at least, until his chewing became noticeably apparent. And Mantis wasn’t in on it, so of course she spotted Drax no problem.

But again, with Drax actually being snapped out of existence by Thanos in the recent Avengers film, he truly is invisible for the time being. And hey, with actor Dave Bautista going toe-to-toe with Disney over the firing of James Gunn, who is to say that Drax may not be permanently invisible in the future?
