Fan Gives Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam Incredible DCEU Costume Design

Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam dons a slick new suit in this impressive piece of DCEU fan art.

The DC Extended Universe is filled with incredible costume designs, from Superman’s suit in Man of Steel, to Deadshot’s outfit in Suicide Squad, to Jason Momoa’s fantastic armor in Aquaman. The DCEU has paid special attention to the outfits worn by its iconic heroes and a new piece of fan art presents the perfect outfit for Dwayne Johnson’s upcoming villain, Black Adam.

It’s still not clear when fans will see the actor make his debut as Black Adam but this new piece of fan art is here to help tide fans over until that happens. Check out the incredible fanmade image in the Instagram post below.

In 2014, it was revealed that Dwayne Johnson would be playing the character Black Adam on the big screen. It was initially assumed that he would make his debut in Shazam! but it has since been revealed that won’t be the case when the film hits theaters in April.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Shazam! and Black Adam’s role in the DCEU as soon as more information becomes available. Are you a fan of the fanmade costume featured above? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Djimon Honsou.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Shazam! will be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.
