Dwayne Johnson Suits Up As Black Adam To Face Zachary Levi’s Shazam In New Image

A new image gives Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam a suit similar to what Zachary Levi’s Shazam looks like. Could his final DCEU look be something similar to this?

While we wait on the announcement for whether we’ll see Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam debut in a sequel for Zachary Levi’s Shazam or in a Black Adam standalone film first, fan artists sure like to imagine several looks for the DC anti-hero. We’ve shown you some looks for Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam in the past, and now another digital artist brings us a version of the Shazam villain standing near the Giza Pyramids in a hood which mimics what Zachary Levi’s Shazam costume looks like. Could this be how Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam will look when he makes his DCEU debut? Check it out:

Dwayne Johnson’s introduction to the DCEU could mean that there are threats that can finally go toe-to-toe with Henry Cavill’s Superman and then some. Black Adam is one of the most powerful anti-heroes or villains in the DC Universe and Dwayne Johnson seems to be preparing the character for something mind-blowing for the DCEU. When Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam gets introduced in the DCEU, it probably won’t be for just one film as Warner Bros. will likely want him around as a permanent menace for the members of the Justice League members and for Zachary Levi’s Shazam. Dwayne Johnson may be one of the most successful actors in Hollywood right now, so he might be a much-needed boost for the DCEU and its future.

Which stories would you like to see Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam featured in when he debuts in the DCEU? Do you want to see him face off against Zachary Levi’s magical superhero in the Shazam! sequel? Or would you rather see Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam go at it against the Justice League? Sound off in the comment section down below!

Following Shazam!, which is now playing, the DCEU continues with Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020. A standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime is also set to hit theaters October 4, 2019.

Until we get more news on Dwayne Johnson and Black Adam, here is the official synopsis for Shazam!:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans and Djimon Hounsou.

Shazam! is now playing! Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for more on Dwayne Johnson and his involvement in the DCEU as we know it!
