Dwayne Johnson remains physically dedicated to his upcoming role!
The road to Black Adam has been an incredibly long one. The film was originally announced with Dwayne Johnson several years ago. Between the actor’s busy schedule, frequent shakeups to the DC Extended Universe, and the Covid-19 pandemic it almost seemed like the Black Adam film was a project that was destined to never happen. Thankfully the stars finally aligned and the film began production earlier this year. The physical training for the role, however, has been one of the most challenging things Dwayne Johnsons has ever done.
In a recent Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson revealed how intense the training for the role has been between working out, dieting, water control, and so on. The training, Johnson revealed, was specifically for a shirtless scene that will soon be shot as the actor is determined to make audiences believe that his character is the champion of the Gods.
