Dwayne Johnson will reprise his role as Luke Hobbs in Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw and this time the titular character will be joined by his brother, played by WWE Superstar Roman Reigns. However, Johnson revealed the role nearly went to Aquaman star Jason Momoa before scheduling issues prevented the duo from playing siblings on screen:
“Me and Momoa tried hard to get him in this movie to play my brother. But his schedule was too packed.”
However, Dwayne Johnson seems confident that the lead actor of Aquaman will appear in a future spin-off, writing, “Next Hobbs movie for sure.”
