Kevin Hart and Dwayne Johnson have already starred together in a comedy just this past year in the warmly received (and hugely successful) Central Intelligence. But Jonah Hill has been widening his portfolio somewhat broader with both buddy comedies (like the underwhelming War Dogs, the Jump Street movies, and Superbad, of course) and contemporary roles like True Story, Moneyball, and Hail Caesar.
It’s hard to say whether or not Hill would go for a comedy sequel like this, especially when he’s rumored to be doing a third Jump Street movie crossover with Channing Tatum. But like Berg said when asked by Collider, “Anything’s possible.”
