The image in question doesn’t show us a whole lot but continues to reinforce that a chunk of the film will take place in a desert. The picture itself, however, features the main cast, composing of Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, and Kevin Hart raising their hands in celebration. Keeping in character, Dwayne Johnson can’t help but throw a little shade at Kevin Hart’s hight, saying that he’s holding his hand up high so Kevin art can’t reach.

2017’s Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle was one of that year’s biggest surprise hits. Making over $900M at the global box office the film was able to successfully compete with Star Wars: The Last Jedi. As a result, a sequel was quickly put into the works.

Based on the children’s book of the same name by Chris Van Allsburg, the Jumanji franchise has followed the misadventures of characters who find themselves plagued by a magical game. The 1995 film starred Robin Williams in the lead role and followed the book’s story of wild jungle animals invading the real world while the sequel updated the concept to follow a group of teens who are transported to the world of Jumanji through a video game.
The untitled Jumanji sequel is directed by Jake Kasdan and stars Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, Danny DeVito, Awkwafina, Danny Glover, Alex Wolff, Morgan Turner, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman and Rhys Darby.
The Jumanji sequel will be released in theaters on December 13, 2019.
