One of the earliest designs for Scarlet Witch has been revealed.
Elizabeth Olsen made her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut at the tail end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier before becoming a major player in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Scarlet Witch is arguably one of the most powerful characters in the entire MCU and she is finally getting her own project to headline with WandaVision.
Now that The Mandalorian has wrapped up season two, WandaVision is Disney Plus’ next highly anticipated release that will mark Marvel Studios’ first-ever TV series. Based on the footage and posters we’ve seen, Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch will evolve more than ever before, but before we get there, Andy Park is taking a look back first. On Instagram, The Marvel Studios director of visual development shared one of the first pieces of concept art he did for Scarlet Witch. You can check out the Avengers: Age of Ultron concept art below.

Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role. Kevin Feige has said that the series will lead into the feature film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
WandaVision is set to premiere January 15, 2021 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news on WandaVision and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original content!
