Elizabeth Olsen Reveals Start Date & Length For Disney+ Series ‘WandaVision’

During a red carpet interview with Variety at the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, Elizabeth Olsen discussed Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series WandaVision.

Avengers: Endgame is set to conclude the first decades worth of MCU stories, but Marvel Studios still has plans for the new era and they include limited series’ on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service. Among the characters receiving their own show are Wanda and The Vision, with both Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany set to reprise their roles in the curiously titled WandaVision. While details on the series are currently under wraps, Elizabeth Olsen hinted at what fans can expect from WandaVision:

“There’s quite a few other comic books that we’re pulling from and it’s gonna be Wanda and Vision. And I think at the Disney+ launch chat they showed a photo of us in the 50s, and I think that’s a good teaser. It’s gonna be really fun. I’m really excited.”

Elizabeth Olsen also revealed WandaVision is expected to begin production in the fall and discussed the length of the Disney+ series:

“I think it’s gonna be a total of six hours. I don’t know what the episodes are.”

In addition to WandaVision, Disney+ is set to offer Marvel shows such as The Falcon and Winter Soldier, Loki, and an untitled Hawkeye series. In the meantime, fans will have to see if and how Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch returns when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters this week.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, Avengers: Endgame stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo,  Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.

Avengers: Endgame will be released in theaters on April 26, 2019.
