The first footage of Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision teased Vision and Scarlet Witch reuniting after Paul Bettany’s android was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
The new synopsis for WandaVision notes that the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be influenced by old sitcoms as Vision and Scarlet Witch slowly realize that their new reality is too good to be true. WandaVision centers on Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch after the events of Avengers: Endgame and is believed to follow the character after she creates an idyllic world in which Paul Bettany’s Vision is still alive. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also confirmed WandaVision will lead directly into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will see Elizabeth Olsen reprise her role as Scarlet Witch. The first half of the series is set to take cues from multiple sitcoms over the decades, while the second half is said to be a Marvel blockbuster.
