Elizabeth Olson's Disney Plus series 'WandaVision' has a new release window.
When the coronavirus began to spread outside of China, the film industry had to halt many of its productions and push back the release dates for several upcoming films and television series. This included many of Disney Plus’ upcoming television series and many have been wondering just when we would see series like WandaVision and Falcon and The Winter Soldier which were both originally set to be released this year. While we still don’t know when the latter will arrive we now have a better idea as to when the former will debut.
Originally Elizabeth Olsen’s WandaVision was set to debut in December of 2020. Now it appears that the upcoming Disney Plus series will premiere sometime in the spring of 2021 instead. The exact date of the upcoming series is currently unknown.
What do you all make of this release date? Are you surprised to hear that WandaVision could debut in the spring of 2021 instead of this December? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
Here is the official synopsis for WandaVision:
Marvel Studios’ “WandaVision” blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.
Directed by Matt Shakman with Jac Schaeffer as head writer, WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as The Vision, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role.
