Emily Bett Rickards Breaks Silence On Arrow’s Shocking Cancellation

Emily Bett Rickards, best known for playing Felicity Smoak on The CW’s Arrow, opened up about the show’s shocking cancellation.

Emily Bett Rickards is one of the breakout stars of The CW’s Arrow and has been a fan favorite on the show since day one. It’s no surprise that with the series’ recent cancellation after it’s eighth and final season Rickards posted an emotional message on her personal Instagram page that sums up the last seven years of work as a “cuddle puddle”.

You can read the rest of her comments by checking out the photo below!

The image is of Emily Bett Rickards and the rest of Team Arrow (Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Colton Haynes, Rick Gonzalez, Echo Kellum, Juliana Harkavy and show producer Beth Schwartz) embracing in one of the last few times that all these talented actors will be united together on set.

It’s always a rain cloud over an actors head when a run like Arrow has had is over but as Rickards mentions in her post it’s opened up a lot of new relationships with new people. Some of which she continues to work with and others that she could work with again down the road.

Thankfully, The CW is still packed with superhero content. Fans still have more episodes of The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, and Black Lightning to look forward to, as well as the final season of Arrow. The series will have a final ten episode season, significantly shorter from past seasons of the inaugural Arrowverse series.

How do you feel about Arrow’s sudden and unfortunate end? Which of the other DC shows on The CW are you a fan of? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

The CW’s Arrow continues next week with the episode titled “Training Day” and you can read the official synopsis below!
