After portraying Felicity Smoak since the first season of Arrow, Emily Bett Rickards made her final appearance as series regular in the seventh season finale of the Stephen Amell series. In the eventful finale, Emily Bett Rickards’ Felicity Smoak was featured in the flash-forward storyline where she helped her children William and Mia save Star City in the year 2040 before departing with the Monitor, who took her to where Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow went after he presumably died several years earlier.
Now, production on the series of Arrow is currently underway and Stephen Amell took to his official Twitter account to announce Emily Bett Rickards will reprise her role as Felicity in the final episode of the show. Of course, details on what role Emily Bett Rickards’ Felicity will play in the series finale of Arrow are being kept a secret, but Stephen Amell also noted that there will be “a lot of news” about the last episode coming on the next few months.
