Comic book movie redemption has been very prominent over the years, in the sense that many actors who have starred in infamously maligned comic book films have gone on to give iconic performances in better-received films. Examples of this are Michael B. Jordan going from Fantastic Four to Black Panther, as well as Josh Brolin going from Jonah Hex to Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2.
Artist BossLogic has now given Eric Bana his comic book redemption in an awesome new piece of art. This new piece portrays Eric Bana, star of 2003’s Hulk, as billionaire Bruce Wayne, the alter ego of the masked vigilante we all know and love, Batman. Check out the awesome artwork in the Twitter post below.
Many actors have portrayed Bruce Wayne over the years and while some may think it simply takes a solemn glare and the ability to look good in a suit to become the character, that’s not always the case. Bruce Wayne being consumed by his role of Batman is an aspect of the character that is just as important as his fight for justice. This aspect of Bruce Wayne has been most recently portrayed in live-action in films like Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding the world of DC as soon as more information becomes available. Do you think Eric Bana would be a good Bruce Wayne? If not, who would you like to see play the iconic character after Affleck?
