Evan Peters Confirmed To Return In ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

X-Men: Days of Future Past star Evan Peters is officially set to reprise his role once again as Quicksilver in the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed X-Men: Days of Future Past star Evan Peters is officially set to reprise his role once again as Quicksilver in the upcoming X-Men: Dark Phoenix directed by Simon Kinberg.

Peters joins returning X-Men stars Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Tye Sheridan, Kodi-Smit McPhee, Alexandra Shipp, and Sophie Turner as the film itself the film itself will focus on Turner’s Jean Grey as it features the iconic story of the Dark Phoenix saga.

In addition, Lamar Johnson of the Canadian television series The Next Step has joined the project in role which has yet to be revealed. Production on the project is currently getting underway and will last until early to mid-October in Montreal.

In addition to directing, Kinberg has also written the script and will produce the film with Hutch Parker and Lauren Schuler Donner. Kinberg himself has been involved with the franchise for just over a decade, having written the main installments of the ongoing film series since X-Men: The Last Stand with the exception of X-Men: First Class. He is also producing Deadpool 2 and New Mutants.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is currently slated to hit theaters November 2nd, 2018.
