In a photo that she released for her Twitter page, Evangeline Lillyrevealed an image of herself after a workout, emphasizing the work she’s done on her biceps:
As it stands, Hope Van Dyne is said to carry the movie equally with her male counterpart (who also doubles as Giant-Man as of Captain America: Civil War), so it only makes sense that Evangeline Lilly would have to make sure that she can pull her own weight in the many action sequences that she’ll be involved in. Ant-Man showed us that Hope already knows a thing or two about how to throw a punch, so it’ll be great to see those skills put to the test in the sequel.
Ant-Man and the Wasp will crawl out on July 6, 2018. The film’s cast includes Paul Rudd as Scott Lang (Ant-Man II), Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne (The Wasp II), Michael Douglas as Hank Pym (Ant-Man I), Michael Peña as Luis, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Judy Greer as Maggie, Randall Park as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Jimmy Woo, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch, Hannah John-Kamen as the Ghost, and Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet van Dyne (The Wasp I).
