Ezra Miller’s The Flash Gets Comic Accurate Costume In New Image

As his highly anticipated solo film waits on the sidelines, Ezra Miller’s The Flash dons a comic book accurate costume in new fan art.

During a recent interview, Ezra Miller opened up about the status of his upcoming The Flash solo film. The film has notoriously gone through several director changes, with Spider-Man: Homecoming writers John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein currently attached to direct. Ezra Miller revealed they are waiting for a script they feel confident in before they begin rolling cameras. The actor also teased The Flash solo film could set up a DC multiverse as well as multiple speedsters. Filming for the solo film was also reportedly delayed due to Ezra Miller’s commitment to Fantastic Beats 3. However, the Harry Potter prequel film has also been pushed back, so Ezra Miller’s return scarlet speedster is now even more uncertain.

DC fans are eager to hear more about The Flash solo film due to the unprecedented success of Aquaman. The latest DC film embraced comic book designs, with accurate costumes. When The Flash film finally gets moving, Ezra Miller could be sporting a more comic book accurate look himself and new art from Dalton Barrett shows the awesome potential of that prospect:

Are you a fan of The Flash costume in Justice Leauge? When do you think the solo film will come out? Do you think the role could be recast? Sound off in the comments below! Here is the synopsis for DC’s next film, Shazam!:

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Strong).

Directed by David F. Sandberg, Shazam! stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, Marta Milans, and Ron Cephas.

Shazam! will be released in theaters on April 5, 2019.
