In an article from The Hollywood Reporter, it was stated that the directors and Ezra Miller have been arguing over the content of The Flash. The directors reportedly want the film to be a more light-hearted story which is apparently what Warner Bros. is leaning towards as well. Miller, however, wants the content of the film to be darker.
The actor also reportedly took to writing a script himself with comic writer Grant Morrison with his vision in mind. The first draft of the script could be submitted as early as next week. If the studio does not like the draft, it could very easily mean the end of Ezra Miller as The Flash if he decides to part ways. It was also reported that their is a clock on all of this as the actors holding deal as The Flash could be expiring in May.
What do you all make of this news? Were you looking forward to seeing Ezra Miller as The Flash in his own film? Should the directors of the film have more control over the project? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
