‘The Flash’: New BTS Photo Reveals Close-Up Look At Logo For Ezra Miller’s Suit

The suit looks electrifying.

The Flash director Andy Muschietti has revealed the first look at Ezra Miller’s suit for the upcoming solo film.

After years of delays and directorial changes, Ezra Miller’s The Flash is finally filming in the United Kingdom. The film is influenced by the iconic Flashpoint storyline, which sees The Flash living in an alternate timeline where things aren’t what they seem. Andy Muschietti’s take on the storyline will see Barry Allen going back in time to save his mother, only for things to awry in his timeline. The Flash is set to open up the multiverse for the DC Extended Universe, with one pivotal inclusion being the return of Michael Keaton’s Batman.

With filming well underway, Andy Muschietti took to Instagram to share the first look at Ezra Miller’s The Flash suit. The image is a close-up shot of The Flashs logo, giving us a detailed look at the emblem and the surrounding design. This tease by Muschietti isn’t dissimilar to the logo reveal he did for Michael Keaton’s Batman suit a few weeks ago. It wouldn’t be surprising if in a few weeks we also got a close-up look at Ben Affleck’s Batsuit.

Plot details for The Flash are currently unknown. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will return as their respective Batmen and guide Barry on this journey inspired by Geoff John’s Flashpoint. Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West in the film, Maribel Verdú is set to play Nora Allen, and Sasha Calle will play Supergirl.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Flash is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding The Flash and the future of the DC Extended Universe and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content!
