‘The Flash’ Set Photo Reveals Flash Ring For Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen

Got a nice ring to it.

A new set photo from The Flash reveals that Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen is sporting the iconic Flash ring.

The Flash is currently filming in London, with on-lookers snapping dozens of photographs of star Ezra Miller and the set. A flurry of set photos were released in the last day, including one showing off Michael Keaton, and a bevy of others giving us our first solid look at Sasha Calle as Supergirl. There have also been set photos showing Barry Allen in a civilian suit on the foot of a courthouse. A new photo, however, reveals that the iconic Flash ring will also be making an appearance in the Andy Muschietti-directed film.

Created from his parent’s wedding ring, Barry Allen’s ring has a non-aesthetical purpose as well. Besides being the coolest fashion accessory in Central City, the ring tightly holds Allen’s suit. The suit is able to shrink inside the ring, perfectly concealing it when Allen is out and about on his civilian duties. The ring failed to appear in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, so it’s certainly exciting to see it finally appear in the Miller-led solo film.

What do you think about Barry Allen’s ring? Comment below and let us know!

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, the film will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.

The Ezra Miller-led project is set to hit theaters on June 3, 2022. Stay tuned for all the latest news regarding the future of the DC Extended Universe, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more exclusive video content!
