Earlier this year, director Andy Muschietti confirmed that Ezra Miller’s The Flash film will adapt the classic Flashpoint storyline, but noted that it will be a different version than comic book readers are expecting. Many have speculated that Ezra Miller’s The Flash film will be used by Warner Bros. to reset to DC Extended Universe and a new rumor from YouTuber Grace Randolph claims the studio wants the Scarlet Speedster’s solo outing to feature a showdown between Wonder Woman and Aquaman to “wipe out” Justice League.
The concept of a battle between Wonder Woman and Aquaman is not inconceivable, especially considering the animated film titled Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox featured a war between the Atlantis and Amazon nations. However, Heroic Hollywood’s Umberto Gonzalez posted a Twitter message informing fans that inside sources of said there is “zero truth” to the rumor of a Wonder Woman and Aquaman fight in Ezra Miller’s The Flash.

Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, Ezra Miller’s The Flash film will be inspired by the Flashpoint storyline. For those unaware, the Flashpoint storyline in the comics followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles.
