‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Marvel Legends Series Arrives On Disney Plus

The 'Marvel Legends' series previews the upcoming show.

Disney Plus has released the Marvel Legends show for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier early now that WandaVision has finished.

With that WandaVision has to come to a close, Marvel fans are already eagerly looking forward to The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘s debut on Disney Plus. And the streaming service has the perfect miniseries to get audiences ready for each new show with Marvel Legends. And while the excitement surrounding the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still quite high, Disney Plus has released the Marvel Legends series for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier a little early.

The two-seven minute episodes give Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes the spotlight, helping to recap their respective stories through the MCU before the story of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier kicks off. It’ll be interesting to see whether the Marvel Legends episodes start focusing on some of the villains who also make an appearance in the new Disney Plus series.

Here is the official synopsis for the Marvel Studios series:

Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”

Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, the series stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent. Actors Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly have also been cast.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus on March 19, 2021.
