Does ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’ Premiere Have a Post-Credits Scene?

Is it worth sticking around after the credits?

Since WandaVision teased audiences with post-credits scenes it’s only fair to see if The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has them too.

Over the years, Marvel Studios has taught audiences to always stay through the credits to wait for a small scene either teasing the future of a specific character or a smartly written joke. And when WandaVision started to include snippets of footage at the end of its episodes, some assumed that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier would also include post-credits scenes.

Unfortunately, the premiere of the latest Marvel series doesn’t have a scene after the credits. Instead it leaves viewers on the cliffhanger of the U.S. government officially unveiling a new Captain America, and it’s not Sam Wilson. The last thirty seconds introduce Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent as Sam watches the news with utter disappointment. And although the credits feature some inventive artwork for the series, there’s no extra footage beyond that.

What did you think to the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? Were you disappointed that there wasn’t a post-credits scene? Sound-off in the comments below!

Here is the official synopsis for the Marvel Studios series:

Following the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Sam Wilson/Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities—and their patience—in Marvel Studios’ “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.”

Directed by Kari Skogland from scripts written by showrunner Malcolm Spellman and Derek Kolstad, the series stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson / Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes / The Winter Soldier, Emily VanCamp as Sharon Carter, Daniel Brühl as Baron Helmut Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker / U.S. Agent. Actors Desmond Chiam, Miki Ishikawa, Noah Mills, and Carl Lumbly have also been cast.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus on March 19, 2021. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
