Fan Art Turns Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn Into The Joker

You don’t necessarily need to do much to change Harley Quinn to make her look closer to Mister J. In a way, she’s already there. Minus the green and purple, Harley has the face paint down. And if Suicide Squad was any indication, on the film side of things, she’s apparently even crazier than the Joker himself. Make of that what you will. So the discussion around this piece of fan art will no doubt be an interesting one. To start, let’s head over to the Reddit side of the internet. I know, I know, but run with me for a moment.

Today, one user shared a photo of Margot Robbie, currently playing Harley Quinn in the DC Extended Universe, but instead of her shown as the Joker’s gal pal, the art portrays Robbie as the Joker himself. She’s got the purple robe, which itself is similar looking to the purple jacket that Leto’s Joker wore in Suicide Squad, as well as the green hair and a cigarette to boot. It does look like a rush job, admittedly, and I tend to agree with one poster who states that Robbie’s Joker here looks more like a vampire, but have a look for yourself and let us know what you think:

Given that the Joker won’t be seen, but mentioned in Birds of Prey when it’s released in theaters in 2020, perhaps Harley Quinn will have one of his suits to remember him by, in the same way she had her iconic jester suit when she and the rest of the squad were given their mission in Suicide Squad. Probably not, but it would be one way for her to have a piece of the Joker with her as she embarks on her new adventure in Birds of Prey.
