Fan Thinks He Found An ‘Avengers’ Easter Egg In ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’

A fan believes he has a found a hidden easter egg referencing the original Avengers in a quick shot from Guardians of the Galaxy.

The post notes the following:

1. A hammer-shaped piece of architecture that links the two buildings. The fan also notes that the building in front also has large metal pieces that look like they came from the hammer. There are also distinct bevels that the fan believes resemble Mjiolnir’s.
2. A radiation symbol is hung on the wall, in reference to the Hulk. The fan also points out the green paint sprayed on the side of the building.
3. The circular building, the fan believes, could either reference Iron Man due to it’s slight resemblance to the Arc Reactor, or it could be a Black Widow reference due to the metal poles converging on a larger circle above making it look like a spider. Furthermore, there is a red light that could make it look like a black widow. Finally, he also points out that it might be a Thor reference if that is where the Aether is stored. The Collector was given the Aether in the post-credits scene of Thor: The Dark World.
4. This building also resembles an Arc Reactor.
5. This building, the fan points out, has a slight resemblance to the unfinished Captain America shield easter egg from Iron Man 2.
6. The buildings purple matches Hawkeye’s signature color, but there is also a distinct purple arrow lit up from the building, possibly referencing the Avengers character’s signature weapon.
7. This one is a little tricky, but the fan believes that this is just a slight reference to the 1966 Batman TV show starring Adam West, as the fan points out looks like the cartoon version of the character.
