‘The Fate of the Furious’ Featurette Takes Us To The Streets Of New York

In a new The Fate of the Furious featurette, we visit the streets of New York with the cast and crew and see what went into creating the New York sequence.

The Fate of the Furious is racing into theaters next week and to build up momentum for the film, a new featurette has been released that showcases the New York sequence along with some new footage. We’ve seen glimpses of the sequence in previous trailers and it looks completely bonkers, to say the least. The sequence features the crew racing through the tight streets of New York through various iconic locations and at some point, features a sea of cars raining down upon the crew, courtesy of Charlize Theron’s character, Cipher.

You can check out the featurette below.

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon, Brian and Mia have retired from the game, and the rest of the crew has been exonerated, the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman seduces Dom back into a world of crime that he can’t seem to escape, the crew will face trials that will test them as never before.

Directed by F. Gary Gray, the film stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Charlize Theron, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Bridges (Ludacris), Kurt Russell, and Helen Mirren.

The Fate of the Furious hits theaters on April 14th.
