‘Fate Of The Furious,’ ‘Wonder Woman,’ And More Light Up Social Media…

Last week, Fate of the Furious, Wonder Woman, Beauty and the Beast, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and Thor: Ragnarok were on the internet’s mind, at least according to a new report from Variety. Generating the most social media buzz and new conversations that week, the upcoming flicks captured social media discourse.

Riding the tails of its new trailer, Fate of the Furious came in at number one with nearly 138,000 new conversations erupting across social media. The data, from media-measurement firm comScore, has also tracked a total of 900,000 new conversations about the film overall.

Coming in second due to its new poster, teaser, and new trailer debut, Wonder Woman generated 110,000 new conversations.

In third, Beauty and the Beast spawned 62,000 conversations ahead of its upcoming release.

Though still a ways away, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, took the fourth spot with 47,000 new conversations.

Finally, Thor: Ragnarok came in fifth with 42,000 conversations.
